Data that may be processed

When you use the website and purchase GridKit, the following data may be processed:

• first and last name;
• email address and any contact details you provide voluntarily;
• order information, purchased product, invoicing and payment status;
• order number and exchanges with support;
• technical data needed for the operation and security of the site, such as IP address, browser used, technical logs and necessary cookies.

GLOBAL FILMS neither receives nor stores full credit card numbers. Payment data is processed directly by Stripe.

The GridKit plugin installed in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects creates no account, contains no advertising or telemetry tools, and does not transmit any project, media, sequence name or file path to GLOBAL FILMS.

Purposes and legal bases

Data is used to:

• process orders, payments, refunds and downloads;
• issue invoices and comply with accounting, tax and legal obligations;
• prevent fraud and ensure the security of the site;
• respond to support requests;
• send communications necessary for the order and delivery of the product.

These processing activities rely, depending on the case, on contract performance, compliance with a legal obligation or the legitimate interest of GLOBAL FILMS.

No data is used by GLOBAL FILMS for personalized advertising without consent or an appropriate legal basis.

Service providers and recipients

Data is accessible only to authorized personnel of GLOBAL FILMS and to service providers necessary for the operation of the service:

• Lovable, for site operation and hosting, database, emails and downloads;
• Stripe, for payment processing, fraud prevention and refunds.

Data may also be shared with administrative or judicial authorities when required by law.

International transfers

Lovable and Stripe may process some data outside the European Economic Area. Such processing is governed by the safeguards and transfer mechanisms described in their respective privacy policies.

Retention periods

Data related to orders, invoices and accounting obligations is kept for ten years.

Support exchanges are kept while the request is being processed, then for a maximum of three years after closure, unless required by law or litigation.

Technical logs managed by Lovable may be kept for up to ninety days.

Other data is deleted or anonymized when it is no longer necessary.

Cookies

The site may use cookies strictly necessary for its operation, security, payment and preference storage.

Any non-essential analytics, personalization or advertising cookie will require the user's prior consent when required by regulations.

User rights

Anyone may request access to their data, its rectification, erasure, portability or limitation of processing. They may also object to certain processing or withdraw their consent.

Requests must be sent to support@motion-lab.app.

A complaint may also be filed with the French Data Protection Authority (CNIL).

Security

GLOBAL FILMS and its providers implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect data against loss, unauthorized access, alteration or disclosure.
